637 E. Michigan Avenue

Built in 1903, Lansing's historic train station is being restored and repurposed. Gillespie Group purchased this property in 2016 in efforts to revitalize the existing building to continue to bring life and energy for years to come.  637 E Michigan Ave was formerly a Clara's restaurant and now, as part of the Stadium District, is being renovated for two occupants to breathe that new life into the space. 

On the western side of the building Starbucks has brought one of its newest community stores to the historic train station. A community store incorporates the history of the area it is located in, invests in locate non profits, provides community meeting space, and focuses its hiring efforts on local residents. 

On the eastern side of the building and the train car, Bobcat Bonnie's, a Michigan-based restaurant organization, will open its doors in 2023.
